What is the Award?

The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award is an internationally recognised program for young people, building their skills to equip them for life and work. By creating opportunities for young people to develop skills, get physically active, give service and experience adventure, the Award can play a critical role in their development.

Didier Walks is a registered Supervisor and Assessor within Gold, Silver and Bronze Adventurous Journeys. I am also able to assist you with planning your own Adventurous Projects. This is an option if you are over 18 and wish to complete a solo hike and combine your Practise and qualifying journeys. Special approval is required by AwardsWA.

Didier Walks assists with planning, guide hikes and assess your Adventurous Journey. Private hikes for individuals, groups and schools, or look out for pre-organised guided hikes.on the Events page.

Didier Walks services anyone who wishes to participate in the award and can also mentor anyone who feels they require specialized support due to anxiety or having a disability.
