Ignite Award founded by AwardsWA, it is a challenging program of self-discovery for young people aged 10 to 14 years old. It provides opportunities to learn valuable skills, be physically active, assist others in the community, and experience adventures. The award benefits young people by fostering positive attitudes toward learning. It complements their school curriculum whilst also building an environment for positive engagement and interaction between young people and the community.
Ignite Award also promotes positive self-development and leadership skills and is a great tool for participants to transition into secondary school. In these ways it is creating responsible and motivated young people in Western Australia.
Didier Walks is a passionate and proud partner with AwardsWA, offering hiking adventures to Ignite Participants of all levels. All children of a similar age are also welcome. Didier Walks is also trained and affiliated as an Activity Provider, Supervisor, and Assessor for the Duke Of Edinburgh International Award for older children.

Thank you so much for taking the boys on their hike today. Alfie and the other boys had a great day. He has not stopped talking about the things he saw, learned, and of course the fall. The boys loved having Sheldon there and your stories about your trail names. They will definitely be looking to hike with you again. Please let us know if there is anywhere we can write a review or recommendation. The boys gave you 10 out of 5 stars.
